We were very pleased that our February 29, 2024 (leap year!) gig at the Hampstead Jazz Club was completely sold out. Thanks to friends, family and people who just turned up with an open mind, for packing the place and helping us do our thing. We hope to see you again soon!

New Album from The Reliables, and St. Martin’s gig April 3rd!
The Reliables are very proud and happy to announce our new album, “Fuzzy Math”, now released on CD!
We’ll get it up on Spotify, Apple Music and elsewhere soon, but the CD looks and sounds great, we’re excited about it, and wanted to let you know!
To kick off the celebration we’ll be doing a CD release party gig at the venerable London jazz venue “The Crypt at St. Martin-in-the-Fields”, Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, at 8pm. Here’s a link to their site.
Our regular drummer Sophie Alloway will sadly be unable to make this gig – she’s living the dream, flying to Italy to do a different gig. So we will be in the capable hands of Joel Prime who will be joining us on drums. We’ll be doing music from the album and more!

The Reliables had a great gig at St. Martin’s.
St Martin’s in the Fields, one of London’s grand names of music making, hosted The Reliables at its jazz venue in The Crypt on 18th April 2018. Playing to a sold out house, The Reliables performed their trademark mix of fresh and original compositions and great standards. As one of London’s larger jazz venues, the intimacy of St Martin’s jazz “cave” contributed to an engaging and joyful rendition of jazz music, weaving together the grand global music traditions from bebop and west coast cool to bossa nova, to Indian music inspired compositions like Dave Barrows’ “Shock Teaser”. Tight and precise playing was testament to the fact that the band has been going strong for over 5 years, while the musicians’ joy of playing together and trading improvisations felt infectious. Expect The Reliables back at St Martin’s in November!
